Painter - Powder- WI- 1st Shift

Responsibilities:

Performs daily, weekly and preventative maintenance on the powder system, per work instructions.

Adjusts and operates the powder equipment to meet production and quality standards.

Troubleshoots the powder system and quality problems.

Performs inventory transactions, per work instructions.

Maintains a clean work area and works as a team member of the paint department.

Performs other routine duties as Paint line Support as assigned by T. C. and/or Supervisor.

Aids in training of new employees, per the Mentor System.

Qualifications

EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE

High school diploma or general education degree (GED). One to three months related experience and/or training is preferred.

LANGUAGE SKILLS

Ability to read and comprehend simple instructions, short correspondence, and memos. Ability to write simple correspondence. Ability to effectively present information in one-on-one and small group situations to customers, clients, and other employees of the organization.

MATHEMATICAL SKILLS

Ability to add and subtract two digit numbers and to multiply and divide with 10's and 100's. Ability to perform these operations using units of American money and weight measurement, volume, and distance.

REASONING ABILITY

Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out simple one- or two-step instructions. Ability to deal with standardized situations with only occasional or no variables.

While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly exposed to moving mechanical parts, fumes or airborne particles, and toxic or caustic chemicals. The employee is occasionally exposed to extreme heat and vibration. The noise level in the work environment is usually moderate.



Don't Be Fooled

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
